That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of .Br~erton to order the ~.provement of the pro~rty abutting upon the Alley fan the P~t of t:eorge Dewey Junior High ~School Ad~tion by the co~truction of an 8 inch sa~t~.,' sewer and app~tenances in the above me~ioned alley and on 8toneway between the Alley and Trenton Avenue together ~_th the cons bruction of a h inch pressure line along Trenton Avenue bet~en Stoneway and Ho~man Street ~nd together with any and all other work fn connection t~re~th as may be necess~y to make such improwement a complete jdo, all in accordance ~th the r,L%~ ~d specifications on file in the Office of the City Engineer of t~ City of Bremerton, reference to ~-~ich is hereby ~de for ft~ther p~ticulars. Section 3. That the City Eng~e~ of the City of Bre~uerton is l~reby ~rected to sub,mt to the City C~ncf.1 at or ~ior to ~e date f~ed for heari~ protests to said impr~aments, the esti ated cost a~ e~e~e of ~tch impr~ement, and a state- r~ent of the proportional ~aunt th~eof, ~ch shou~ be borne by the proper~v ~thin the oropos~ assessment district, ~d a stat~ent of the asgregate assessed va~ation of the real estate, exclusive of improv~ents, within such oro-osed district accordfng to the valuation last placed upon it for the purpose of a a~eneral ~zxation, together v~th the estimated ~ount of the c~t and e~e~e of st~ch i~r.~:rovements to be borne by the lots~ tracts~ or ~rcels of la~ or other prope~y which shall be specially bene- fited thereby~ Section h. That the City Clerk be and he is hereby directed to give notice of thc ds~te of such hem ing to each owner or reputed ~mer of ~r and all lots~ tractS, or parcels of land or other property specially benefited by the improvement by msiling to the ov~er or reputed own~ of the property as sha:~n on the tax rolls of the County Treasurer, s~t the address shown there,, a n',%ice setting forth~-~he nature of the proposed improvement, the total established cost and the estimated benefits to the particular lot, tract, or p~rcel, and the date of 'the hmring before the City Council, at least l~ days before the date fixed herein for such hearing. Section 6. That ~.~ednesday the llth day of February, 19~9, at lO:OO o'clock ~.~.~., P.S.T.~ of said day be and the same is hereby fixed as the date of hearing protest against said improvements by any psrson~ interested therein; and the City Clerk be and is hereby aut'horized and directed to publish a copy of this Reso]ntion in the official newspaper of said City for at least two successive issues, the first issue to be at least l~ days prior to the date herein fixed for said hearingo, and said publication~ together ~lth the ~ailiug of the notices hereinabove provided to the ov~ers or re~?.ted ~ners of the lots, tracts, or parcels of laud included in such improvement as her e! nab ove set forth, shall be due and legal notice to all concerned in said improvements.
