HomeMy WebLinkAbout1115 WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton constructed a new City Hall and
a park adjacent thereto, located at the corner of Fourth and Washington;
and
WHEREAS, many individuals and organizations contributed to the
costs of the completion of this project and have been duly recognized;
and
WHEREAS, in contemplation and in appreciation of the benefits '
to be derived from the new headquarters and the park and of the
general benefits to the citizens of the City of Bremerton the several
departments of the City of Bremerton have contributed man-hours towards
the completion of this structure; and
WH~S, in appreciation of these over-all benefits the depart-
men'~s o~ the City of Bremerton do not desire to charge their expenses
against the City Hall Fund;
NOW, THF~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Bremerton that it thank the many individuals and the city depart-
ments who have contributed, time, material, and man-hours towards 'the
completion of this project; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council that the departments
of the City of Bremerton may contribute towards the completion of this
str~cture the man-hours of work performed by the employees in their
departments; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the voucher submitted by the Water
Department for materials furnished be and the same is hereby approved,
and the Water Department is hereby authorized to charge against its
budget the man-hours of labor contributed towards the completion of
the park.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication
of such passage this ~ ~day of October, 1960.
