WHEREAS, the Department of Public ~Vorks of the City of Bremerton heretofore
prepared and served notice, as by law provided, u~on the ~a~er or reputed o~er
of the following described property:

to close cesspool, remove certain garbage, rubbish, debris, grass, weeds or brush
from his ~ emises which constitute a menace to the public health, safety and
welfare of the residents of the City of Bremerton, a copy of which notice is attach,
hereto and by this reference im orporated herein, and a copy filed with the City
Council, and
~,VHEREAS, the said bwner was notified therein that such nuisance was to be abated
or corrected not later than the .~A...day of Amgm~. _., 19 ~) , and if the same was
not done, tha~ a resolution would be presented to the City Council on the
day of A~ , 1965 , to provide for the abatement ef said nuisance and the
assessment of the cost thereof a~ainst the property; and
WHERE~$, said nuisance has not been removed pursuant to s aid notice and the same
still exists and constitutes a menace to public health, safety and welfare, and no
cause having been shown by the ~,mer as to why s aid nuisance should not be removed
and/or destroyed a~ the cost assessed against the owner of said property; Now
Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BRH~RTON:
That the n~isance situate on the above described property is in violation of the
ordinances and laws of the City of Bremerton by reason of the fact that the same
constitutes a menace to public health, s~f ety and welfare, in that it provides,
among other things, a harborage and breeding place for rats.
BE IT ~w~3RTHER iL~OLVED that the Co~issioner of Public V~orks of the City of
Bremerton shall, after the .~r~. day of .Am~% .., 19~__, forthwith cause the
removal and destruction of said nuisance and shall keep an accurate reeord of the
necessary costs thereof, and said costs shall become a charge against the owner
and a lien against the property hereinabove described, all as authorized by law.
