WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton is presently renting from
the National Bank of Commerce of Seattle, Bremerton Branch, safe
deposit boxes for the safekeeping of papers of the City of Bremerton;
and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the officers of the City of
Bremerton to keep and maintain said safe deposit boxes; NOW,
T~REFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED that safe deposit box or boxes in the safe
deposit vault of the National Bank of Commerce of Seattle, Bremerton
Branch, be rented in the name of this corporation, and that
H. O. Domstad, present Mayor of the City of Bremerton, and Austin
Clark, present Commissioner of Finance and Accounting of said City,
and/or their respective successors in office are authorized by and
on behalf of this corporation to sign in the name of the City of
Bremerton any agreement for the renting of said safe deposit box
or boxes as may be agreed upon between said officials and said
bank; and the Comraissioner of Finance and Accounting and the City
Treasurer jointly are to have access to said safe deposit box or
bo:~es, and in the absence of either, the ~ayor or the Com~nissioner
or the Treasurer, jointly, are to have access to said safe deposit
box or boxes from time to time and to deposit therein, remove
therefrom, inspect or inventory such of the securities, papers,
and property of the City of Bremerton as they may deem proper.
and. that, upon such access being given as herein provided, no
further responsibility shall attach to said bank; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 1087 be and.
the same is hereby repealed; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this
resolution be delivered to the Bremerton Branch of the National.
Bank of Con~merce of Seattle, a national banking corporation.~
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the >~ayor and attested by the City Clerk in
authentication of such passage this /~ ~day of January, 1960.

Clerk of the City of Bremerton, a municipal corporation, do
hereby certify that we are the duly elected, qualified, and
acting Mayor and Clerk of said City; and that the above and
foregoing is a full, true, and correct copy of a resolution duly
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City on
a regular .~neeting date held on the ./~/~day of January, 1960, at
which ~ quorum of the council me~nbers was present; and that such
resolution is now in full force and effect and duly recorded in
the minutes of the Council .~aeeting of the City of Bremerton; and
that the same appears in the file of resolutions in the office
of the City Clerk of the City of Bremerton.
