WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Council of the
City of Bremerton a petition by the residents of the territory
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the Southerly
margin of Bl~ck 30, United States Navy Yard Addition
to Bremerton, and the Southwesterly margin of
Secondary State Hlghw&y No. 21-B, also known as
Wheaton Way; thence Northwesterly on the South-
westerly margin of Secondary State Highway No. 21-B,
and continuing Northwesterly on the Southwesterly
margin of Campbell Way to the Westerly margin of
Block 28 of tforesaid Addition; thence Southerly on
the Westerly margin of said Block 28 to the South-
westerly corner of said Block 28 of said Addition;
thence Southeasterly on the Southwesterly margins
of Blocks 28, 29 and 30 of said Addition to the
Southerly margin of Block 30 said Addition; thence
Easterly on said Southerly margin of Block 30 said
Addition to the Southwesterly margin of Secondary
St&be Highway No. 21-B and the point of beginning;
for the annexation of said described property to the City of
Bremerton and for an election to vote upon the question of
annexation of said described property to the said City of Bremerton;
and
WHERKAS, said petition has been considered by the City Council
of the City of Bremerton;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Bremerton does hereby approve the petition for an election
to vote upon the annexation of that property hereinbefore described
situated in Kitsap County, Washington; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the petitioners named therein or
representatives thereof be notified of the approval of the petition
by mailing a copy of this resolution to said petitioners ~r repre-
sentatives of said petitioners and that a copy of this resolution
be mailed to the Auditor of Kits..mp County, Washington, and the
Board of County Commissioners of Kitsap County, Washington.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage this 13th day of December, 1961.
