States has made the Friday preceding V~terans Day a Federal Holiday;
and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1813 authorizes the City Council, by
resolution, to put in full force and effect any proclamation of the
President or of the Governor of the State of Washington relative to
holidays; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton
that the employees of the City of BremertOn working Monday through
Friday are hereby granted a legal holiday Friday, November 18,
1961; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any city employee working
November 11, 1961, be and he is hereby deemed to be working on a
legal holiday, as provided for in Ordinance No. 1813.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage this 8th day of November, 1961.
