WHEREAS, the Tahuyeh Lake Associates are in the process of
developing and raising the level of Tahuyeh Lake, situated in
Kitsap County, and
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton owns two parcels of land
adjacent to this development, and
W~KAS, the raising of the level of Ta.h~yeh Lake as proposed
would flood a portion of the following-described property, and
WHEREAS, the Tahuyeh Lake Associates have asked permission
to inundate the city property, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council of the City
of Bremerton that the flooding of the city property would not
reduce its value to the City of Bremerton for the purposes for
which it was acquired;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Bremerton that the Tahuyeh Lake Associates be and they are
hereby authorized and permitted to flood portions of the following-
described property owned by the City of Bremerton, to-wit:
E 1/2 SW 1/4 NW 1/4 Sec. 17; E 1/2 SW 1/4 SW 1/4
NW 1/4 Sec. 17; SW 1/4 SE 1/4 NW 1/4 Sec. 17; W 1/2
NW 1/4 SE 1/4 NW 1/4 Sec. 17; NE 1/4 SE 1/4 NW 1/4
Sec. 20; W 1/2 SW 1/4 NE 1/4 Sec. 20. All in Town-
ship 24 North, Range 1 West, W.M.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk An
authentication of such passage this 26th day of July, 1961.
