WHSRF2%S, a decrease in the quantity of service on the Seattle -
Bremerton ferry run will immeasurably interfere with our tourist
program, and
WHEREAS, such a reduction in service will drive business to
the competing runs and will make the Bremerton run record look bad
and justify further decreases in service, and
WHEREAS, our tourist business and our economy are dependent
upon adequate service and facilities and any decrease ~thereof is
detrimental to our .welfare;
NOW, THEREFOREt BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Bremerton that the Governor of the State of Washington
and the Toll Bridge Authority be and the same are hereby requested
to re-establish adequate summertime schedules and services.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
authentication of such passage this 14th day of June, 1961.
