City of Bremerton a petition by the residents of the territory
known as Rocky Point and Phinney Bay Drive and upon property more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Section corner common to Sections 9,
10, 15 and 16, Township 24 North, Range 1 East, W.M.;
thence Northerly on the line common to Sections 9
and 10 to the Government Meander Line; thence Northerly
on said meander line to the Northernmost point of the
peninsula known as Rocky Point; thence on the meander
line of Phinney Bay to the existing City Limit; thence
on said City Limit, Easterly and Southerly to the
Southerly margin of 19th Street; thence Westerly on
said margin to the Westerly margin of Corbet Drive;
thence Northerly on said margin to the Southerly
margin of Phinney Bay Drive; thence Northwesterly on
the Southerly margin of Phinney Bay Drive to the
Easterly margin of R~cky Point Road; thence Southerly
on the East margin of Rocky Point Road to the
Easterly extension of the North line of the .North 60
feet Of the South 370.5 feet of the East 532 feet of
Goverr~ment Lot 4, Section 10, Township 24 North,
Range 1, East, W.M.; thence Westerly on said North
line to the West line of the North 50 feet of the
South 406 feet of the East 120 feet of the West 290
feet of the East 25 Acres of said Government Lot 4;
thence Northerly on said line to the North line of
said tract; thence Westerly to the West line of the
East 25 Acres of Government Lot 4; thence Southerly
to the Northerly margin of Kelly Road; thence Westerly
on the Northerly margin of Kelly Road to the Northerly
margin of Marine Drive; thence Westerly on the Northerly
margin of Marine Drive to the line common to Sections 9
and 10; thence Southerly on said line to the point of
beginning.
for the annexation of said described property to the City of
Bremerton and for an election to vote upon the question of annexa-
tion of said described property to the said City of Bremerton, and
WHEREAS, said petition has been considered by the City
Council of the City of Bremerton;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT R~SOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Bremerton does hereby approve the petition for an election
to vote upon the annexation of that property hereinbefore described
situated in Kitsap County, Washington, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the petitioners named therein
or representatives thereof be notified of the approval of the
petition by mailing a copy of this resolution to said petitioners
or representatives of said petitioners and that a copy of this
resolution be mailed to the Auditor of Kltsap County, Washington,
and the Board of County Commissioners of Kitsap County, Washington.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage this 12th day of April, 1961.
