WHEREAS the City of Bremerton is a member of the Kitsap
County Civil Defense Council, and
WHEREAS the Civil Defense Council should be given authority
to conduct its affairs in accordance with the Civil Defense Act of
1950 and the ordinances and resolutions of the members of said
Civil Defense Council, and
WHEREAS the Kitsap County Civil Defense Council, by
Resolution 2-62 proposed to adopt certain by-laws,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Bremerton that the proposed by-laws as contained in Resolu-
tion 2-62 of the Kitsap County Civil Defense Council be and the same
are hereby approved and the Mayor of the City of Bremerton is hereby
authorized ~ to vote in favor of said proposed by-laws.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
