HomeMy WebLinkAbout1196 WHEREAS there was an unappropriated surplus in the Arterial
Street Fund on January 1, 1962, of $5,681.63, and
WHEREAS excess receipts of $3,318.37 are anticipated from the
1/2 cent gas tax allocation, and
WHERFAS, this additional revenue must be matched by City funds
in th~ amount of $3,000.00, and
WHEREAS previously matched funds in the amount of $3,368.60
have been recovered from the sale of houses on right-of-way for the
Eleventh Street intersection, and
WH~P, EAS all interest on registered warrants must be appropriated
from City funds, and it is estimated that $200.00 will be sufficient for
this purpose for 1962,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that excess receipts, as set forth
above be, and they hereby are, appropriated as foklows: the sum of
$15,368.60 for Arterial Street Projects; and the sum of $200.00 to pay
interest on registered warrants.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Brem-
erton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication
of such passage this .7 ~ day of November, 1962.
