offered to sell to the City of Bremerton, 2700 cubid yards of
crushed rock at $1.90 per yard, and
WHEREAS, the price of this crushed rock is considerably less
than the cost to the City of ~remerton of crushing its own rock, and
WIiEREAS, Ace Paving Company is the sole supplier of crush
rock in the City of Bremerton, and
WHEREAS, the purchase of said crushed rock would reduce the
cost of resurfacing streets in the City of Bremerton, to the
benefit of the tax payers of the City of Bremerton, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton
that the offer of Ace Paving Company be accepted and that the
motion passed at the Council meeting held April 26, 1962, author-
izing ~he Co~mnissioner of Public Works and Utilities to purchase
said crushed rock, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage this 2nd day of May, 1962.
