Section 1. That the pwblie interest requires the following improvement to
be made.
Section 2. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of
Bremerton to order the improvement of Yantic Avenue from Fmrragut Street to
Rodgers Street by the construction of concrete curbs and gutters and asphaltic
surfacing together with the 6oing of any and all other work in connection there-
with as may be necessary to make such improvement a complete job, all in accord-
ance with the plans and specifications on file in the Office of the Oity Engineer
of the City of 8remerton, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars.
Section 3. That the City Engineer of the City of Bremerton is hereby
directed to submit to the City Council at or prior to the date fixed for hearing
protests to said improvements, the estimated cost and expense of such improvement,
and a statement of the proportional amount ther~of, which should be borne by the
~roperty within the proposed assessment district, and a statement of the aggregate
assessed valuation of the real estate, exclusive of improvements, within such
proposed district according to the valuation last placed upon it for ~he purpose
of a general taxation, together with the estimated amount of the cost and expense
of such improvements to be borne by the lots, tracts~ or parcels of land or other
property which shall be specially benefited thereby.
Section 4. That the cost and expense of said improvement to be borne by said
improvement district and exclusive of any portion borne by either the State of
~ashington or other governmental agency, shall be assessed against said broperty
included in said improvement district in proportion to said area, as determined
by th~ use of the termini and zone method, and in accordance with the provisions
of Revised Code of Washington 35.43.0d0, the remainder of said cost to be ~aid
for by arrangement if any, with either the State of Washington or other governmental
agency.
Section 5. That the City Clerk be and he is hereby directed to give notice
of the O~te of such hearing to each owner or reputed owner of any and all lots,
tracts, or parcels of land or other property specially benefited by the improve-
ment by ~ailing to the owner or re~uted owner of the property as shown on the tax
rolls of the CountY Treasurer, at the address shown thereon, a notice setting
