IN THE MATTER OF PRIMARY STATE HIGHWAY NO.I~, PORT ORCHARD TO TIDEWATER GR~7~
RESOLUTION BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON, KITSAP COUNTY, WASHIiqGTON.
WHEREAS, THE CITY OF BPd~iERTON is the record owner of Government Lot 4, Section
33, Township 24 North, ~ange 1 East, W.M., in Kitsap County, Washington, EXCEPT
STATE HIGHWAY AND,
WHEREAS, in the improvement of Primary State Highway NO.I~, Port Orchard
to Tidewater Greek, by the State of Washington, Department of Highways, it is
necessary and advisable for the State of Washington to acquire title to that
portion of the above described tract of lm d described as follows$ All that
portion of the above described tract of land, lying Northwesterly of the North
right of way line of Primary State Highway NO.14, Port Orchard to Tidewater
Creek and Southeasterly of a line drawn parallel with and 85 feet distant
Northwesterly, when measured at right angles and/or radially from the center line
of said highway, and extending from Highway Engineer Station 153+40 Southwesterly
to the West line of the above named tract.
WHYS, after due consideration by the COUNCIL of the CITY OF B~RTON~'
it appears to said Council that it will be in the best interest of both the
CITY OF BREMERTON and the State of Washington that said COUNCIL conveF said
lands to the State of Washington by qUIT CLAIM DE~, for a consideration of
ONE THOUSAND ($1,000.00) DOLLARS.
NOW THEREFORE, be it hereby resolved by the COUNCIL of the CITY OF BREMERTON~.
that the CITY OF BR224ERTON, in accordance with R.C.W, ~7.12.0~0 and through its
COUNCI._____~L, execute said Deed, and deliver said Deed to the State of Washington,
Department of Highways.
Done at a regular meeting of the COUNCIL of the CITY OF BREMERTO~, this
19th day of February 1964.
