WHEREAS, in order to facilitate the work of the Water and Sanitation
Departments in the billing of accounts and posting of collections and
related work, and to improve the service and efficiency in'the billing
of accounts and posting of collections, the City Council duly passed
Resolution No. 409, and
WHEREAS, the work of the Water and Sanitation Departments in the
billing of accounts and posting of collections and related work, as
well as improvement in the service and efficiency in the billing of
accounts and posting of coli'ecttons, will best be served and facilitated
by a transfer of those functions, services and duties to and under the
direct supervision of the Commissioner of Finance, reserving to the
Commissioner of Public Works and Utilities all supervision and author-
ity reserved to and invested in said Commissioner of PUblic Works and
Utilities as provided by Charter and Law, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. That all employees engaged in the billing of accounts and
posting of collections for both the Sanitation and Water Departments
be and they hereby are placed under the direct supervision of the
Commissioner of Finance, reserving, however, to the Commissioner of
Public Works and Utilities all supervision and authority reserved to .~,~/
invested in said Commissioner of Public Works and Utilites as provided
by Charter and Law.
/ .2. That such ~ reorganization~hall be effective commencing the
day of ~y/~ , , 1965.
PAS~$D unanimously by the City Council of the City of Bremerton
this day of April, 1965, signed by the Mayor and attested by the
City Clerk in authentication of such passage.
