WHEREAS, a Petition has been filed with the City Council of
the City of Bremerton asking that streets and portions of streets
as hereinafter described be vacated, and
WHEREAS, said Petitioners, BENJAMIN ROLAND CATES and LOUISE
FRANCES CATES, represent 100% of the abutting ownership upon said
streets and alleys sought to be vacated and the public interest will
be served by vacating said streets and alleys and portions thereof as
hereinafter described:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that a hearing
shall be had on the 9th day of November, 1966, in the Council Chambers
of the Bremerton City Hall, in the City of Bremerton, at the hour of
10:00 o'clock A.M to determine whether or not the following described

streets, alleys and portions threof should be vacated, to-wit:
That portion of John Street lying west of the Warren
Avenue Bridge approach and east of Lot 177 of the
corrected plat of First Addition to Sheridan Park,
an addition to the City of Bremerton, Washington, as
recorded on April 2, 1954 in Volume 8 of Plats, page
23 to 25, records of Kitsap County, Washington, situate
in Kitsap County, Washington,
and that the City Clerk shall give notice of said hearing by posting
in three of the most public places in the City of Bremerton and in a
conspicuous place upon each of the avenues, streets and alleys to be
vacated, a copy of said notice.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication
