Bremerton to acquire 15.$ acres of property from the General
Services Administration of the Federal Government to be used
as a park, and
~4HEREAS, the Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation
(I.A.C.) was established by the PIarine Recreation Land Act of
1964, and
WHEREAS, the primary function of the Co~nittee is to
administer funds from the Outdoor Recreation Fund Account for
outdoor recreation projects,
~0~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Bremerton that a request ~e authorized for matching
funds from the I.A.C. in order to effect the acquisition of
-the proposed Eastpark Nature Area.
PASSED and APPROVED by the City Council of the City of
~remerton, signed by the ~[ayor and attested by the City Clerk
~n authentication of s~ch passage this i9th day of October,
1966.
