WHEREAS, an area lying outside of the corporate limits of the
City of Bremerton and contiguous thereto was duly and regularly annex-
ed to and incorporated within the corporate limits of the City of
Bremerton by Ordinance No. ,~ ~ d?~,~ , and
WHEREAS, a portion thereof more fully described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the Easterly margin of
Corbet Drive with the north line of tract 14 Phinney 2 1/2
Acre Tracts as per plat recorded in Volume 5 of Plats, Page
1, Kitsap County, Washington; thence East along said North
line of Tract 14~ 125 feet to the true point of beginning;
thence South to the Northeasterly margin of Corbet Drive;
thence Southeast along the Northeasterly margin of Corbet
Drive to the Northerly margin of Primary State Highway No.
21 (SR 3); thence Easterly along said Northerly margin of
said Highway to the East margin of Ford Avenue; North along
the East margin of Ford Avenue to a point which is South
106.377 feet from the centerline of 13th Street; thence
West 170 feet; thence South 60 feet to the North line of said
Tract 14; thence West to the true point of beginning.
held county use classification for commercial use most comparable
to city use classification of Business-Three (B-3) and should retain
such classiffication in accordance with its existing use and the
Comprehensive Plan of the City of Bremerton and the recommendations
of the Planning Commission, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that a hearing shall be had
not less than two weeks from the date hereof, to-wit on the %/~/
day of September, 1966, in the Council Chambers of the Bremerton City
Hall, Bremerton, Washington at the hour of 10:00 o'clock A.M., to det-
ermine whether or not the above described real property shall be
reclassified from Residential-One (R-i) to Business-Three (B-3); and
the City Clerk be and he hereby is directed to give notice of said
hearing by publication of notice thereof in the official city news-
paper for a period of once a week for two weeks preceding said
hearing.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication
of such passage this day of Sep$~er, 1966. ~.
