WHEREAS the City of 8remerton desires to recognize
years of dedicated service of its employees from time to time,
and
WHEREAS 0~o J~rs~ad served ~he Oily Wa~er Depar~men~
with loyal~y, dedication and leadership for over 36 years un~il
his re~iremen~ on January Y, 19~l, and
WHEREAS d~ing ~s years of service he saw ~he
watershed increase from approximately 600 acres ~o over 8~000
acres, providing ample supplies of pure and potable wa~er for
generations ~o come, and
WHEREAS 0~o Jars~ad resided and raised his family
upon proper~y a~ Gors~ greek p~ping s~a~ion si~e,
HOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by ~he Oily Council of
~he Oily of Bremer%on, ~ha~ Gors~ Greek p~p s~a~ion picnic
grounds shall henceforth be known as O~o Jars~ad Park.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City 0ouncil of ~he

by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this
