deeming it to be in the best interests of the City to cause
all City owned vehicles to be distinctively marked~ and
WHEREAS, a distinctive marking previously has been
established by agreement of the members of the City council
of the City of Bremerton, which distinctive marking refers to
the natural environment of the City and its significance as
a site of a great naval shipyard,
NOW THEREFORE, be it hereby resolved by the City
Council that the City of Bremerton require that the markings
previously established by agreement of the members of the City
Council be affixed by appropriate means to all City owned vehicles,
excepting those necessary vehicles in the Police Department, so as
to cause the vehicles to be clearly marked and designated.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bre~erton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication
of such passage this ~X~ day of January, 196Y.
