W~EREAS, the Auditor:of Kitsap County has certified that
the registered voters en'titled to vote in accordance with the
opinion of the Prosecuting Attomney within the Kitsap Lake Water
District have indicated their approval of the transfer of the assets
and liabilities of the water district to the City of Bremerton, and
W~EREAS the duly elected and acting Commissioners of
Kits'ap Lake Water District have by resnlution transferred the assets
and l'iabilities of the Kitsap Lake Water District to the City of
Bremert on ~
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Bremerton that the City of Bremerton, acting by and through
its City Council, does hereby accept the assets and liabilities of
the Kitsap Lake Water District, and assumes full control and owner-
ship of the same, and agrees to provide water service to the users
of the wa~er district in accordance with applicable ordinances of
the City of Bremerton.
