WHEREAS, MARINE DRIVE WATER DISTRICT has filed a petition

with the City of Br~merton to vacate portzons of a road rl~ t-of-
'way in Bremerton described as
That portion of County Road right-of-way lyin~ on
the easterly side of County Road P~o~ecT No. 19,
Rocky Point Road, which lies outside of and beyond
a distance of ~0 feet easterly from ~%e centerline
of said road along the westerly side of NE 1/~ of
NW 1/~ of Section 15, Township 2~ N, R1E, W.~. and
specifically between Engineers Stations 9+75 and
11+85 of The plan of said road bearin~ date of
February 1955 which is on file in office of the
Kitsap County Engineer.
and
WHEREAS petitioners are the owner in fee simple of the
property abutting upon ~he above described street for which vacation
is s0U~hT~ 8nd
WHEREAS petitioners reques~ the Council of ~he City of
Bremerton to ~ive notice for a hearinK as required by law in relation
to the petition,and
WHEREAS City Ordinance No. 255~ ~equires that a hearin~ on
petition To vacate portions of city property shall be held by the
City Council on a date set by the City Council of the City of
Br~mer~on, not more than S0 days nor less than 20 days after the
date of adoption of said res,lution, now therefore it is hereby
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Br~merton that
a hearin~ on the petition of petitioners to vacate ~he above des¢-o
ribed s~ree~ will be held befor~ the City Council of ~he City of
Bremerton on the 25th da~ of 0c~obeP, t9~7, at 10:~0 o'clock A.M.
daylight saving time, at the Council Chambers in ~he City Hall,
B~merTon~ Washington, and it is further
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton That
~he City Clerk shall post notice for 20 days of ~he filin~ and
hearin~ of said pe~ttion to vacate.
PASSED by the City Council. of the City of Bremer~on, si§ned
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
