City Council, deems it advisable to' enter into negotiations for the
purchase of certain United States Government property, commonly known
as Craven Center, from the United States Government acting through
the General Services Administration; and
WNE~EAS, GLENN K. JARSTAD and E. H. T. McGOWAN are the duly
elected and acting Mayor and City Clerk of the 'City of Bremerton.~and,
as such are authorized to act on behalf of the City in connection
with the purchase of property;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Bremerton that GLENN K. JARSTAD, Mayor, and E. H. T. McGOWAN,
City Clerk, are hereby authorized to make an offer of $33,500.00 for
the purchase of certain United States Government property known as
Craven Center, to General Services Administration, United States
Government, under conditions applicable to negotiated sales of govern-
ment property and, if said offer is accepted, to accept a deed on
behalf of the City of Bremerton.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed by
the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such
