WHEREAS, H. G. KEPPERT and KENNETH HILLS have filed a petition
with the City of Bremerton to vacate a dedicated but unopened alley
in Terrell's Addition to Charleston, described as
Ail that portion of dedicated but unopened alley
between Lots 15, 16, 25 and 2g and that portion
of the alley abutting Lots 13, 14, 15, 26, 27,
and 28 of Block 2, Terrell's Addition to Charleston,
situate in Kitsap County, Washington,
and
WHEREAS said petitioners are the owners a~ fee simple of al!
the Lots 11 through 28 inclusive on Block 2, Terrell's Addition to
Charleston, according to plat thereof, Kitsap County, Washington;
that said alley, though dedicated and platted has never been opened
or used and does terminate as a dead end, and
WHEREAS vacation of said alley would not interfere with the
rights of any property owners other than petitioners and wQuld not
diminish service from said alley to any property owner other than
petitioners, and
WHEREAS petitioners request the Council of the City of Bremerton
to give notice for a hearing as required by law in relation to the
petition, and
WHEREAS City Ordinance No. 2334 requires that a hearing on pet-
ition to vacate portions of city property shall be held by the City
Council on a date set by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, not
more than gO days nor less than 20 days after the date of adoption of
said resolution, now therefore it is hereby
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton that a
hearing on the ~etition oF H. G. KEPPERT and KENNETH HILLS to vacate
~ortions of ~he above described alley in Block 2, Terrell~s Addition to
Charleston will be held before the City Council of the City of Bremerton
on the 24th day of May, 1967, at 10:00 o'clock A.M., daylight saving
time, at the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Bremerton, Washington,
and it is further
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton that the
City Clerk shall post notice for 20 days of the filing and hearing of
said petition to vacate.
