WHerEAS the City Water Department is embarking on a program of
doing its own thinning and logging on the watershed, rather than sell
standing timber on a bid basis, and
¥~EEEAS this operation will require the services of an exper-
ienced and qualified person to assist the City Forester~ and
WHE~EAS this program was not contemplated at the time of making
up the 1967 budget,
THEREFORE BE IT R?~OLVED by the City Council of the City of Brem-
erton that thence be, and there hereby is~ established in the YJater
Supply budget for 1967, under the classification "Salaries and Wages"
the position of "Forestry Amde #1" at a maximum salary of $5~0.O0
per month~ and
BE IT FU~THE~ RESOLVED that such salary be paid from the existing
total Salaries and Wages appropriation in the Water Supply budget
for 1967.
PASSED by the City Councml of the City of Bremerton~ signed by
the ~yor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such
