WHEREAS, Puget. Sound Power & Light .Company has filed a petition
with. the City of Bremerton to vacate portions of alleY in Jacobson's
First Addition to Bremerton, described as
All that portion of the alleY lying immediately south of
Lots 10, ll and 12, of the Plat of JacobSon's First Addition
to the .'City of ~Bremerton, .as per plat recorded in Volume 3 of
Plats, Page 64, records of and situate in Kitsap County,
Washington, .said alley having a width ~of approximately 14 feet,
and
WHEREAS Puget Sound Power.& Light Company is the owner ~ fee
simple of all property abUtting the above idescribed property for which
vacation is sought on the north, south 'and west' ~and that no private
ownership abuts on the east end of the Portion of the alley sought to
be vacated, and
WHEREAS Puget Sound Power & Light Co'mpany requests the Council
of the City of Bremerton to give ·notice for a hearing as required by
law in relation to the petition, and
WHEREAS City Ordinance 'NO. 2334 requires that a hearing on
petition tc vacate 'portions of city property shall be he'Id by the City
Council on a date set bY the City COuncil of the City of Bremerton, not
more than 60 days nor less than 20 days after the date of adoption of
said resolution, now therefore 'it 'is hereby
RESOLVED by the City Council of the' City of Bremerton that a
hearing on the petition of Puget Sound Power. & 'Light Company to vacate~
portions of the above described alley in Jacobson's First Addition to
Bremerton will be held before the City Council of the City of Bremerton
on the Z~.~ ~ay of FebrUary, 1967, .at/~'~o o'~ock A.M., .at the Council
Chambers in the' City Hall, Bremerton, Washington, and it is further
RESOLVED bY the' City Council of the City of Bremerton that the
City Clerk shall post notice for 20 days of the filing and hearing of
said petition to. vacate.
