WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bremerton
has recommended that the City.of Bremerton vacate the following
described property:
A strip of land, 60 feet in width, lying
30 feet on each side of the following described
centerline: Beginning at the intersection of
the westerly margin of Winfield Avenue as described
in that certain Quit Claim Deed filed under Auditor
File No. 832444, dated October 13, 1964, Kitsap
County, Washington, and the westerly extension of
the centerline of Highland Street in the Plat of
the Highlands, as recorded in Volume 6 of Plats,
page 42, records of Kitsap County, Washington;
thence westerly along the extended centerline of
East Highland Street, to the east margin of Marlow
Avenue as described in that certain Quit Claim Deed
filed under Auditor's File No. 836441, dated November
28, 1964; Kitsap County, Washington.
WHEREAS, City Ordinance No. 2334 requires that a
hearing on petition to vacate portions of City property shall
be held by the City Council on a date set by the City Council
of the City of Bremerton, not more than sixty days (60) nor less
than twenty days (20) after the date of adoption of said reso-
lution, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF BREMERTON:
That the City Council of the City of Bremerton shall
hold a hearing on the resolution to vacate the above described
property and that said hearing shall be held before the City
Council of the City of Bremerton on the 6th day of November,
1968, at 10:00 a.m. at the Council Chambers in the City Hall,
Bremerton, Washington, and it is further
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton
that the City Clerk shall post notice for twenty (20) days of the
filing and hearing of said petition to vacate, said notice to be
posted on the above described property in three conspicuous public
places.

PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage this 16th day of October, 1968.
