resident in the Rocky Point area in a number greater than twenty
per cent of the votes east in the last election, such petition
requesting annexation and being filed with the City Council of the
City of Bremerton in the State of Washington.
~ ~EREAS, the City Council of the City of Bremerton on
this~/ day of July, 19S8~ has dete~ined that it is in the
best interest of both the City of Bremerton and those parties
desiring annexation that such annexation go to an election a~
further that such annexation would be in furtherance of the health,
safety, morals and general welfare of the co, unitY.
NoW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City of Bremerton
approves of the proposed annexation all done in accordance with R.C.W.
35.13.020 through R.C.W. 35.13.0~0, and requests the Board of Co~is-
sioners of Kitsap County to call for an election for the purpose of
approving this annexation and simultaneously therewith adopt the com-
prehensive plan of the City of Bremerton relating to the annexed a~a.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and ~tested by the City Clerk in authentication
of such passage this~-~day of July, 1968.
