WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 1287 the City of Bremerton
adopted a comprehensive street program for the ensuing six years,
pursuant to Chapter 195 laws of 1961, and
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton is convinced through
further study of said program, that it should be amended by adding
thereto the construction of Park Avenue from 4th Street to Burwell
Street, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bremerton, the
legislative body of said City, held a public hearing on the pro-
posed amendment to said comprehensive plan, at the City Hall of the
City of Bremerton at 7:30 P.M., P.D.S.T., the 23rd day of May, 1968
and
WHEREAS, there were no oral or written objections to the
proposed amendment to the said comprehensive plan, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton that the comprehensive plan adopted by Resolution No. 1287
be amended by adding thereto the construction of Park Avenue from
4th Street to Burwell Street; and, that said amendment together with
said comprehensive plan be, and the same is hereby adopted as the
street program for the City of Bremerton for the six year period ending
Janum~ 1, 1972.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that two copies of said amendment
to said comprehensive street program, together with two copies of
this resolution be filed with the Director of Highways of the State
of Washington.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
