of Bremerton for the year 1968 there were several clerical
positions where the rate of pay was established without
due regard being given to the provisions of Ordinance No.
2251 which provides in Section 4, Sub-section (b) for a
one-step pay increase upon completion of the probationary
period, provided funds are available, and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds have been budgeted
in the various departments where this situation exists to
pay such one-step increase without an additional appro-
priation,
THEREFORE BE IN RESOLVED that all clerical help
completing their probationary periods be granted the one-
step increase as set forth in Ordinance No. 2251, provided
such increase is properly authorized by the department
head and the City Council.
PASSED by the City Council, of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City
