City of Bremerton to proceed with the
vacation of certain property upon completion
of improvements.
WHEREAS the City of Bremerton intends to vacate the
following desribed property:
"Home Street from Wheaton Way to Alley abutting
Lot 12, Block 3 and lot 13, Block b of Rythers
First Addition to Decatur, as recorded in Vol.
2, Page 17, Kitsap County, Washington."
and
WHEREAS the petitioners requesting this vacation have
advised the City of Bremerton that the City may retain a ten foot
easement through the center of the described property and, further,
that they will build new steps for pedestrians in the center of
the easement area and that they will leave existing steps in
place until the new ones are built and that they will further,
pave a five foot strip of the easement along its entire length. Now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Bremerton does hereby declare its intent to vacate the following
described property:
"Home Street from Wheaton Way to Alley abutting
Lot 12, Block 3 and Lot 13, Block ~ of Rythers
First Addition to Decatur, as recorded in Vol.
2, Page 77, Kitsap County, Washington.
reserving unto the City of Bremerton a ten foot public easement
in the center of the property and that the necessary steps for the
vacation of the property will be undertaken upon completion by the
petitioners of the paving of a five foot strip of the easement along
its entire length and completion of new steps in the center of the
easement.
ADOPTED by the City Council this /~day of August, 1969,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the Acting City Clerk in
authentication of such adoption.
