A RESOLUTION of thc City Council of the City of
Bremerton, Washington, amending Resolution No. 2930 relating to
the assignment and conveyance of thc Comprehensive Garbage,
Recyclables and Yard Debris Collection Contract from Rabanco,
LTD to Waste Management of Washington Inc.
WHEREAS, the City Council, in Resolution No. 2930, approved the assignment
of the City's Comprehensive Garbage, Recyclables, and Yard Debris Collection Contract from
Rabanco, LTD, ("Rabanco") to Waste Management of Washington, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, Rabanco and Waste Management of Washington Inc. ("Waste
Management") desire to extend the effective date of thc assignment from August 1, 2004 to
September 1, 2004; NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON, WASHINGTON,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTIONL Section 2 of Resolution No. 2930 entitled "Effective Date" is
amended to state: The Assignment effective date will be September 1, 2004.
SECTION2. Severabilitv. If any one or more sections, subsections, or
sentences of this Resolution are held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not
affect the validity of the remaining portion of this Resolution and thc same shall remain in full
force and effect.

This is to advise the City of Bremerton, Waste Management of Washington Inc. hereby accepts
the terms and conditions of Resolution No. 2930, passed by the City Council on June 14, 2004,
as amended by Resolution No. 2936, passed by the City Council on August 18, 2004, consenting
to assignment and conveyance of the Comprehensive Garbage, Recyclables and Yard Debris
Contract from Rabanco Ltd., and Waste Management of Washington Inc. agreeing to be subject
to the same terms and conditions of the current contract through December 31, 2006.
