A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, Washington, approving an Agreement with Kitsap
County, Washington, for Construction of Water Main.
WHEREAS, Kitsap County, a political subdivision of Washington State, has
requested that the City of Bremerton construct a water main to serve Kitsap County's Central
Communications Center project as part of the construction phase of the City of Bremerton's
West 650 Pressure Zone Improvements project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton's West 650 Pressure Zone Improvements
Project will construct similar water mains in a location contiguous to Kitsap County's Central
Communications Center project; and;
WHEREAS, Kitsap County and the City of Bremerton have negotiated a written
Agreement (Agreement) for the City of Bremerton to undertake construction of said water main
on Kitsap County's behalf; and,
WHEREAS, Kitsap County will pay all design and construction costs in
accordance with the Agreement; and,
WHEREAS, approval of said Written Agreement requires a resolution of the
governing body authorizing the Mayor of the City of Bremerton to execute the Agreement;
NOW THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON, WASHINGTON,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION L The City of Bremerton desires to construct said water main in
accordance with the Agreement.

SECTION2. The City Council of the City of Bremerton does hereby authorize
the Mayor of the City of Bremerton to execute the Agreement and to take such other actions as
are necessary and relevant to performance of the Agreement.
SECTION3. Severabili~. If any one or more sections, subsections, or
sentences of this Resolution are held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not
affect the validity of the remaining portion of this Resolution and the same shall remain in full
force and effect.
SECTION4. Effective Date. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage.
