A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, Washington, approving a State Revolving Fund Loan
(SRF) for the Cooperative Approach to CSO Reduction Program.
WHEREAS, the Department of Ecology, a Washington State Agency has
established a State Revolving Fund (SRF) for providing financial assistance for the City of
Bremerton to provide low-interest loans to City property owners for repairing, replacing or
installing new sanitary and storm water sewer systems under the Cooperative Approach to CSO
Reduction Program, an element of the City's Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Reduction
Program; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton desires to participate in the loan from said SRF;
and
WI-IEREAS, a requirement to participate requires a resolution of the governing
body authorizing the City of Bremerton to receive a SRF loan; NOW TI:I'EREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON, WASHINGTON, DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION1. The City of Bremerton desires to participate in the SKF Loan Program.
SECTION2. The City Council of the City of Bremerton does hereby authorize the City of
Bremerton to receive a SRF Loan and to take such other actions as are necessary and relevant to the
SRF Loan Program.
SECTION 3. Severability. If anyone or more sections, subsections, or sentences of this
Resolution are held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of
the remaining portion of this Resolution and the same shall remain in full force and effect.

SECTION 4. Effective Date. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage.
