RESOLUTION NO. #2828
A CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION APPROVING THE
EMMANUEL APOSTOLIC CHURCH
APPLICATION (PL01-0030)
FOR AMENDMENT OF SPECIAL USE PERMIT (SUP98- 0017)
WHEREAS, Emmanuel Apostolic Church has presented an application to amend Special Use
Permit #SUP98-0017, previously approved for a day care center at 1023 6~ Street, to increase the daycare
capacity from Forty-one (41) children to Fifty-six (56) children, and, relocate the previously approved site plan
location of the outside play area to a new location.
WHEREAS, the Bremerton Planning Commission conducted a public meeting on June 19, 2001
dudng which it received oral and written comments pertaining to the subject application; and
WHEREAS, the Bremerton Planning Commission following the public hearing on June 19, 2001,
voted unanimously to recommend that the application to amend Special Use Permit (SUP98-0017)
presented by the Emmanuel Apostolic Chumh, be forwarded to the City Council for consideration; and
WHEREAS, the City Council conducted a public hearing on July 25, 2001, during which it received
oral and wdtten comments pertaining to the Special Use Permit Amendment application (PL01-0030); now
therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council concurs with the Bremerton Planning Commission's findings
in support of the Special Use Permit Amendment request (SUP01-0038) and affirms that the proposed use
does meet the necessary tests and criteda required for approval of a Special Use Permit;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Bremerton City Council does hereby approve the
amendment application SUP01-0038.
