A RESOLUTION establishing an Arts District in downtown Bremerton.
WHEREAS, the downtown Bremerton arts community has requested that an Arts District
be formed; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton wants to foster a vibrant downtown district for arts,
culture and entertainment which celebrates Bremerton's diverse arts and cultural heritage; and
WHEREAS, the arts contributes to the economic growth and diversity of a vital
downtown; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BREMERTON THAT:
Pacific Avenue from 1st to 6th Street and 4th Street from Park Avenue to Washington Avenue be
established as an Arts District.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton this 23rd day of
August, 2000.
