A resolution by the City Council relating to the adoption of the 1999
Comprehensive Plan and Map and corresponding Zone Map changes
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Bremerton has
recommended the proposed amendments to the City's Comprehensive Plan, including
four Comprehensive Plan and Map and corresponding Zoning Map amendments, all in
accordance with the adopted procedure for amending the Plan once per year; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton, as applicant, proposed miscellaneous
amendments to the Capital Facilities Plan, also approved and recommended by the City
Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, first reading of Ordinance 4707, AB # 00-104 occurred on April 26,
2000, the proposed Kitsap Way/Weslon Place amendment having been withdrawn prior
to first reading due to the need for revision; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the necessary revision, which was consistent with the
Planning Commission recommendation, first reading of Ordinance 4708, AB # 00-115
occurred on May 10, 2000; and
WHEREAS, second reading on Ordinances 4707 and 4708 occurred on May 17,
2000, the Council having considered all amendments concurrently and ascertained the
cumulative effects, as required by State law and the City's Comprehensive Plan, now
therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BREMERTON CITY COUNCIL THAT the
1999 Comprehensive Plan and Map, Zoning Map and Capital Facilities Amendmems
have been reviewed concurrently in the one package received from the Planning
Commission, to ascertain the cumulative effects thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton this 17th day of May,
2000.
