A RESOLUTION by the City Council establishing year 2001 Legislative Intent.
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the budget amendments for the year
2001; and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes the following steps must be taken to
execute the budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BREMERTON CITY
COUNCIL THAT:
1. The City Council will establish priorities and provide policy guidance to
the Mayor and staff for the Year 2002 budget implementation by February
28, 2001.
2. The Mayor will propose for the Council's considerations additional service
reductions, budget cuts, and increased efficiencies by March 31, 2001.
3. The Council will establish priorities and provide policy guidance to the
Mayor for the next Biennial budget Year 2002 by June 30, 2001.
PASSED, by the City Council of the City of Bremerton this~j2~(~_ day of
December 2000.
