Acknowledging a revised Employee Expense Reimbursement policy.
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of Bremerton, City employees, City
administration and the City Council to establish a uniform City policy for the Employee
Expense Reimbursement; and
WltEREAS, the Mayor has established a revised Employee Expense
Reimbursement Policy which addresses guidelines for authorization and reimbursement of
job-related expenses;
BE IT RESOLVED BY TFIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BREMERTON:
That the Council ask the Audit Committee to direct the City Auditor to perform
periodic audits and report on the effectiveness of, and the City's adherence to, the
Employee Expense Reimbursement policy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any future revisions to the Employee
Expense Reimbursement policy will be reported to the Council by the Mayor.
