A RESOLUTION reviewing charges for the abatement of the property, at
1246 Ivy Road and determining means of collection.
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton incurred costs for the removal of the mobile home and its
appurtenances from the property located at 1246 Ivy Road; and
WHEREAS, the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, as adopted by the Bremenon
Municipal Code, allows the City to recoup these costs either by personal judgment against the property owner or
as a lien against the property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is charged with determining whether the fees are just, and how they should
be collected; and has considered the report of charges filed by the Building Official and any protests or objection
filed; and
W.BEREAS, the Building Official of the City of Bremerton recommends the fees be collected as a lien
against the property located at 1246 Ivy Road, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Bremerton:
1. That the abatement charges included in the report of the Building Official in the amount of $7,226.03
for the property located at 1246 Ivy Road, Bremerton, attached hereto, are just and reasonable.
2. That the City of Bremerton will exercise its fight to recapture abatement fees by filing a lien against
the property.
