A RESOLUTION to adopt the City of Bremerton Wastewater Comprehensive Plan.
WHEREAS, The City of Bremerton desires to plan for the future and growth in its
wastewater system service area; and
WHEREAS, a wastewater comprehensive plan provides a means to meet future wastewater
collection system and wastewater treatment plant needs; and
WHEREAS, the City has not adopted a wastewater comprehensive plan since the Sinclair
Inlet Sewerage Facilities Plan completed in 1978; and
WHEREAS, the 1990 Sinclair Inlet Urban Bay Action Plan recommends comprehensive
planning of Bremerton's wastewater facilities; and
WHEREAS, the requirements for comprehensive wastewater planning are specified in State
Department of Ecology regulations promulgated under Washington Administrative Code 173-240-
050;
Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton:
That The City of Bremerton Wastewater Comprehensive Plan attached hereto be adopted.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton this 22nd day of May, 1996.
