A RESOLUTION amending Parks fees and charges for instruction and facility use.
WHEREAS, the City Council, through their annual Statements of Legislative Intent
have directed staff to review fees and charges; and
WHEREAS,, fees at the Sheridan Park Recreation Center and the Bremenon
Municipal Pool were last raised in January of 1986; and
WHEREAS, the provision of quality recreational programming to the citizens of
Bremenon is an important element of the mission of the Parks and Recreation Department;
and
WHEREAS, the costs associated with the provision of recreational programming
have steadily increased over the past several years; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton:
That the Parks Department schedule of fees and charges for public instruction and
facility use attached hereto as Exhibit "A" shall become effective January 1, 1992, and
continue in effect until amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that beginning January 1, 1993, and the beginning
of each calendar year thereafter, the Bremerton Parks and Recreation Department Schedule
of Fees and Charges attached hereto as Exhibit "A" shall be adjusted by using the revised
Consumer Price Index (CPI) for all urban consumers as published by the United States
Department of Labor for U.S. City Average, all items (1982-84= 100) for the most current
period preceding the beginning of the calendar year.
