A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE BREMERTON COMPREHENSIVE PLAN IN TItE
HOSKINSON ANNEXATION AREA.
WHEREAS, the owners of properties in the vicinity of Marion
Avenue and Arsenal Way, immediately west of and adjacent to the
City limits of Bremerton, requested the annexatign-lof their
properties to the City of Bremerton; and
WHEREAS, an Annexation Area that included a total of six
parcels was delineated by City staff; and
WHEREAS, the Bremerton City Council, on July 25, 1990, gave
its approval to the initial request and directed that it be
processed; and
WHEREAS, the Bremerton Planning Commission conducted a
public hearing on March 19, 1991, to accept public input on the
issues of the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning, after which the
Commission forwarded its recommendations to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council conducted a public hearing to
consider the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning on April 24, 1991 and
found that the area was most suitable for light industrial uses,
with the exception of two existing dwellings fronting on Marion
Avenue; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BREMERTON CITY COUNCIL that the
Bremerton Comprehensive Plan Map is hereby amended to change four
of the six parcels within the Hoskinson Annexation Area from the
Plan designations "Residential, 0-7 Du/Ac." and "Residential, 7-
15 DU/Ac." to "IndustPial/BUsiness Park", as shown in Exhibit
· A", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein.
