A RESOLUTION declaring parcels at Union and Werner, Union and Poindexter,
and 3rd Street adjacent to Reservoir #4, surplus to the City's present and future
needs, waiving certain surplus procedures and setting consideration for sale.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton that:
1. Parcels of property, more fully described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference, are declared surplus to the present and future needs of
the City, including the provision of public utility service.
2. A pending offer, which requires timely acceptance, offers unique advantage to the
City General Fund and Utility Fund which would not be realized from a sale to other
bidders. This offer represents an urgent and compelling need to waive procedures of
Finance Policy 1-6 relating to Planning Commission recommendations on disposal, and
competitive bidding.
3. Consideration for said parcels included as part of the Annexation Agreement
tendered by HMI, Inc. and Haselwoods, attached hereto as Exhibit "B" and incorporated
herein by reference, is approved, and the Mayor is directed to sign this Agreement.
