A RESOLUTION determining that garbage abatement fees are reasonable and
charging the costs as a personal judgment against the property owner of 3914
Sundown Drive.
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton incurred costs for removal of garbage and debris
at 3914 Sundown Drive; and
WHEREAS, the Bremerton Municipal Code allows the City to recoup these costs
by personal judgment against the property owner; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is charged with determining whether the fees are just;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton:
That the City of Bremerton confirms the Building Official's report of garbage
abatement charges of $855.68 as correct and just charges for garbage removal from 3914
Sundown Drive, Bremerton and directs the City Attorney to collect the charges as a
personal obligation against the owner, Rick Towne, if not paid within thirty (30) days of
billing and to secure payment with a garbage collection and disposal lien against the
property.
