BREMERTON CITY COUNCIL
Regarding Approval of Proposed Grant Request
HOME PROGRAM: RENTAL REHABILITATION LOAN PROGRAM
WHEREAS,
the City of Bremerton is eligible to apply for
Federal funds through the federal HOME program, and;
WHEREAS,
the City of Bremerton desires to provide funding for
a rehabilitation loan program for renter occupied units,
and;
WHEREAS,
the HOME Program requires the federal funds to be
matched with local funds at 25%;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
authorize submittal of a Rental Rehabilitation Loan Program grant
request to the HOME program. The grant request shall be
substantially in conformance with the attached summary sheet; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the $25,000 matching funds required
will be identified as City of Bremerton loan payment funds from
closed-out rehabilitation loan programs. the budget adjustment
will be presented to the city Council when the grant contract is
presented for delegation of authority to sign.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton on May 18,
1994.
