A RESOLUTION reviewing chaxges for the abatement of the property at 1108
Sidney Avenue, Bremenon, and determining means of collection.
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton incurred costs for the removal of garbage and debris on the property
located at 1108 Sidney Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Bremerton Municipal Code allows the City to recoup these costs by personal judgement
against the property owner, which will become a lien against the property if not paid within 30 days; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is charged with determining whether the fees are just, and has considered the
report of charges fried by the Building Official and any protests or objection filed; and
WHEREAS, the Building Official of the City of Bremerton recommends the fees be collected as a personal
judgment the property owners, Michael and Christine Barber, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Bremerton:
1. That the abatement charges induded in the report of the Building Official for the property located at
1108 Sidney Avenue, Bremerton, attached hereto, are just and reasonable.
2. That the City of Bremerton will exercise its right to recapture abatement fees by Filing a personal
judgment against the property owners, Michael and Christine Barber, which if not paid within 30 days will become
a lien against the property.
PASSED, by the City Council of the City of Bremerton this 1st day of March,
1995.
