A RESOLUTION regarding Land-Use and Environmental permit fees
WHEREAS, The Bremerton City Council establishes fees for the processing of
Environmental and Land Use permits; and,
WHEREAS, The Bremerton City Council does not wish to amend the current
ratio of permit processing revenue and cost; and,
WHEREAS, The Environmental and Land-Use fees have not been increased for
two years while processing costs have increased relative to the cost of living over the last
two years; and,
WHEREAS, The Bremerton City Council desires to institute an annual cost of
living increase for zoning and environmental fees in order to maintain the current fee
structure.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Bremerton does
increase its Zoning and Environmental fees by seven percent according to the attached
table.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City's Zoning and Environmental
fees shall be adjusted each January to reflect the change in the regional cost of living.
