A RESOLUTION proposing the vacation of Porter Street and and portions of
adjoining alley between Constitution and Charleston, and setting hearing date.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BREMERTON CITY COUNCIL THAT
1. The City hereby proposes the vacation of the following rights-of-way within the
City by operation of law, one half of each right of way to each abutting property:
Kitsap
Porter Street abutting Block 7 and 4;
ALSO
The alley running east and west in Block 7;
ALSO
The alley running north and south in Block 4;
ALSO
The alley running east and west abutting lot 26 in Block 4
ALL in the Plat of Port Orchard, as recorded in Vol 1, pages 96 and 97, of Plats,
County, Washington.
2. A public hearing will be held on September 27, 1995 at 6:00 PM or later at the
Bremerton City Hall, 239 Fourth Street, Bremerton, Washington to take public comment
or consider written objections to the vacation.
3. If fifty percent or more of property owners abutting said fight-of-way file written
objections to this action prior to the time set for public hearing herein, the hearing shall
be canoeled and there shall be no further proceedings under this resolution.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton this 30th day of August,1995.
