RESOLUTION NO. 2723
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton owns property at the southeast corner of Werner
Road and Union Avenue, and
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton Department of Public Works and Utilities will be
widening and improving Wemer Road and Union Avenue for safer motor vehicle, pedestrian and
bicycle usage, and
WHEREAS, in order to make these improvements, additional property for right of way
is needed.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BREMERTON CITY COUNCIL, that the following
described City of Bremerton property be designated as part of the right-of-way of the City of
Bremerton road system:
That portion of the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 21,
Township 24 North, Range 1 East, W.M., situate in Kitsap County, Washington, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Noahwest corner of the southwest quarter of the southeast
quarter of the northeast quarter of said Section 21; thence N89° 47'21 "E along the
centerline of Werner Road, a distance of 309.48 feet; thence S0°34'22"W 40 feet to the
True Point of Beginning; Thence S89°47'21"W 74.66 feet to the beginning of an arc of a
curve; thence along the arc of a curve to the left a distance of 54.62 feet, said arc having a
radius of 30 feet, a central angle of 104 o 19'33'' to a point 40 feet easterly of the centerline
of Union Avenue, measured at fight angles; thence southerly along a line parallel to and
40 feet east of the centerline of Union Avenue to a point 280 feet south of the centerline
of Werner Road measured at right angles; thence S89°47'21 "W to the easterly fight-of-
way of Union Avenue; thence northerly along said easterly fight-of-way to an
intersection with the southerly right-of-way of Wemer Road; thence easterly to the True
Point of Beginning.
